about

This collection of songs covers a broad range of styles and instruments that I freely explore: Grand piano, drums, upright bass, cellos, violins, pedal steel guitar, singing saw, muted trumpet, a tin pan alley upright piano, ukulele, organs and a horn section. There are two songs in Portuguese as well as a movie soundtrack. The first and last songs share the same theme musically but describe completely different seasons (The delicate First Snow and the lush Cicada Summer). They are bookends to this musical journey.

For song descriptions, lyric translations and links to YouTube videos just click on the individual song titles.

Warmest wishes, Jim Clifford
